Spanish side as well!
Next week I will be on a surf trip with my family in Pavones, Costa Rica.
I am going to bring some cards and backpacks with me and try to visit with some local schools if possible.
This abuela makes the most delicious burritos and every day her kids and grandkids sell them in front of the PAVONES sign by the beach. This is the only source of income for the large family. Her youngest daughter is severely autistic.
Meeting the principal and a student from the Cloud Forest School way up in the mountains and giving the school dyslexia awareness cards.
Happy to be helping this school!!
I met a volunteer teacher who was teaching the students English. She loved the bilingual card style!
Delivered cards to a very sweet teacher who said she is excited to use them in her classroom and said she knew very little about dyslexia!
Glad I ddi not fall off my horse on the way to visit the Escuela Punta Banco!
This small school is across the street from a turtle sanctuary
Me driving the ATV to the Escuela Santa Clara School
Made it!
ATV visit to the Vista de Mar rural school in the mountains
